i recently comissioned a sketch of my mums dog for her birthday and absolutely love it! it's the best likeness i have seen and really brings out the dogs personality! david is very skilled and has a talent like no other! both david and caroline are very punctual and get back to your queries and requests very quickly, postage is extremely quick too! The price seems like an absolute bargain when you see the final outcome! i can't thank them enough for the drawing, will definitely be requesting more drawings of my own dog very soon! thank you both so much! i know my mum will love it ? xxx

I picked up my pet portrait tonight which is a memorial piece of my beloved dog. I cannot express my emotion over this piece. David you have truly captured my beautiful boy and all his character. As for the detail of the actual portrait....wow!!! The eyes, ears, mouth and his coat are all absolutely spot on. I received my pet portrait of our staffie Molly. We absolutely love it! David has a wonderful talent of capturing the exact details and features. I was worried I wouldn't see mollies character in the artwork, but she definitely bounces out at you.

I have always been interested in the Battle of the Little Big Horn. Following a recent visit to the site in Montana I commissioned David to paint portraits of General Custer and Chief Sitting Bull as a special momento of the holiday. Never did I expect anything so good - my wife actually cried when she saw them! This exceptional young artist has a wonderful talent - thank you David.

Having exhausted my search for suitable pictures to place in my son's bedroom, I was told by a friend to have a look at David's work and due to the reasonable costs decided to commission a painting: Paddington Bear. The quality just blew me away and I subsequently asked for a further Mr Men painting. I was so pleased with the results. All my family comment on the paintings. They are such good quality and unique to us, my son absolutely adores them. I can't recommend David Hughes enough - thank you!!!!

We already had Avenger posters/pictures on my son's wall, his favourite being Captain America. However, I was finding it difficult to find any further different pictures that I was happy with to add to his collection. We liaised with David over which style and approach I wisjed to take, and he was patient and gave me a few suggestions which I hadn't considered. He provided me with regular updates and pictures showing the progress, which added to the excitement. The end result was fantastic and my son was so ecstatic when it finally arrived. It has pride of place on his main wall. Have already recommended him to my friends.
