About me and my work

I am a self-taught artist who works primarily in pencil and acrylic paint. At the moment my main occupation is producing bespoke commissions in a huge variety of genres and styles. As you'll be able to see from my gallery I will happily paint virtually any subject matter (within reason!). I am based in Lancaster in the UK but I take orders from anywhere in the world.

I believe strongly that original art can and should be affordable for people on any income. Most people have some form of art on their walls but 99% of paintings will be reproductions; I think that there is something fantastic about having an original, unique painting on the wall, particularly when that picture portrays a beloved person, pet, object or view. I am able to create a high-quality original painting or drawing based upon your images and designs for the same price as a generic print.

I am passionate about painting and drawing. In particular I love creating commissions because they mean so much to the recipients. It makes me proud to think of my works hanging in customers' homes where they will be loved. I always create my commissions with care and love so that hopefully my customers will be as proud of them as I am.
